Dr. Meiram Atamanov was born in 1990 in The Republic of Kazakhstan. He is currently a senior lecture at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and working in the field of chemical physics of combustion processes. He defended PhD in 2018, the research was focused on enhancement of combustion efficiency of Hydroxylammonium nitrate (HAN) based rocket liquid propellants by carbon materials. Dr. Atamanov also held long-term internship at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, Edinburg, (TX, USA) and Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency, JAXA, Sagamihara (Japan). He successfully finished Postdoc at the Science and Technology on Combustion, Internal Flow and Thermostructure Laboratory, Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xi’an, China. Currently working in the field of combustion of composite energetic materials mainly solid rocket propellants under the effect of carbon based nano-additives. This research direction includes experimental study on thermal analyses and combustion diagnosis.
